The 1998 surfin' round the world challenge:
November 22 - December 13, 1998

RULES

The following rules are accepted by every participant:
  1. The arbitrary function with last decision is maintained by the challenge master, Hanspeter.
  2. All participants surf the net on their own, there is no liability whatsoever on the challenge organizer or on sponsors.
  3. The challenge is open for everyone - however some people can be disqualified when breaking the netiquette - that means behaving in any manner against laws or decency (that is especially watched in the posts on the messageboards!) - decision by the challenge master. There is no right to partake, but all are welcome that want to make the net a worthy place to be and to have fun!
  4. The Challenge is not a timerace, and it is built up so that you can choose to use more than one day to funish it.
  5. There is a time limit - that means there is a time where the challenge must be ended, entries after that published time will not qualify!
  6. To be able to win, participant must fulfill all the exercises and surf all the sites that are part of the challenge. That includes sponsors sites. However, there are no sponsors with dubious businesses!
  7. The sponsors will send the prices directly, the winners will be published on all sites and also informed personally by e-mail.
  8. Any questions have to be mailed to: [email protected] . Only question mailed to this address will be answered during the challenge!
  9. All instructions on the challenge pages have to be followed.
  10. The URL the mainsite is: http://www.ch-pro.com/challenge. Startpages are also on other sites.
